Salad with crab sticks
A simple and delicious salad. Minimum ingredients with maximum taste!

Ingredients

  • Crab sticks

    200 g

  • Figure

    0.5 cup

  • Corn

    1 can

  • Carrots

    1 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Mayonnaise

    100 g

  • Salt

  • Sugar

    1 tsp

  • Vinegar

    1 Tbsp

The preparation time excluding the time of preparation of rice and onions. It should be done the day before. Wash rice and soak in cold water for an hour.

Drain the water and spread the rice in boiling water, by volume, three times more than cereals. Boil until tender on low fire. Drain in a sieve and allow to cool completely. The rice should be soft but crumbly!

Meanwhile prepare onions. Finely chop, pour boiling water for half an hour. Drain and pour the marinade: ( 1/2 stack. water, 1/3 tsp salt, sugar and vinegar). Leave to marinate for half an hour at least.

Peel and grate carrots on a fine grater. Season to taste with salt and RUB with hands like cabbage when pickling. Let stand for a bit. Carrot will let the juice and become soft.

Cut into cubes crab sticks.

The corn is poured into a bowl, drain the juice.

There to lay down sticks and carrots.

Add the cooled rice and mix well. Season with salt to taste. When serving, season with mayonnaise.
