Cookies and cupcakes of Mantova
This tasty pastries hailing from Mantua province, Lombardy. I want to offer You traditional version ( as it was stated in the source), which is known since the 16th century. Very crisp, with the scent of almond and sour lemon.

Ingredients

  • Brown sugar

    150 g

  • Flour

    100 g

  • Corn flour

    100 g

  • Flour almond

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Yolk egg

    1 piece

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Vanilla

Ingredients.

Mix all kinds of flour, sand. Oil, grind with flour mixture.

From lemon squeeze the juice. Combine all the ingredients and knead a soft dough.

Now we have 2 ways for baking. If we take a piece of dough the size of a walnut, put on a baking tray, covered with baking paper and slightly press. It will turn out cookies. We bake at t= 180 min. about 20-25 min. take out and let it cool down completely. Fill with dough or muffin tins.

Cupcakes, unlike cookies, are softer. We bake them at the same t, but 30-35 min.
