Orange cake with poppy seeds
This cake is very suitable for lovers of Oriental sweets. It is aromatic, with bright orange flavor. Again, without a spoon to eat. My family is one of the perfect cakes. The recipe is from the magazine "Sweet story".

Ingredients

  • Butter

In the mixer put 200 g of butter 180 g of sugar. Whisk on medium speed.

Zest of 1 orange, grated on a fine grater. Continue whisking.

Add 1 of the eggs. When the mass is homogeneous, turn off the mixer.

Add the almonds and poppy seeds. Stir with a spatula.

Then put 100 g of yoghurt and 150 g of orange juice. Stir.

Finally add the flour with the baking powder. Thoroughly but gently mix.

Spread the batter in a greased and floured form. Bake in a preheated 150 degree oven for about 50 minutes. Readiness, as always, check with a skewer.

15 minutes before readiness Kaka, begin making the syrup. In a saucepan pour 300 g of water, 200 g orange juice 400 g sugar and a thin plate peel of 2 oranges. Syrup bring to a boil and let it boil for 4 minutes.
