Outdoor rhubarb and almonds
I'm back with pie. I love rhubarb, but my children consider it a real "sour". And when I stumbled upon the vastness of the net on this recipe, I had hope, maybe this time it will work to reconcile them with this product? The real reward was when my son said, "Delicious! And can I have another one?"

Ingredients

  • Rhubarb

    500 g

  • Sugar

    75 g

  • Almonds

    100 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    2 piece

  • Brown sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Flour

    2 Tbsp

  • Spices

    1 tsp

Rhubarb peel and cut into small pieces.

Drop into boiling water for just a minute.

Drain in a colander and give good to drain.

Eggs, sugar, melted butter, almond crumb and flour mix well.

Rhubarb put on low heat, add 2 tbsp of brown sugar and spices. Attention! Spices ONLY supposed to be 1 tsp, not a spoonful of each! Leave on the heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Less is better, especially if the rhubarb is young.

Rhubarb to cool and mix with the sugar-egg-almond mass.

Revenio spread almond paste on the dough and bake in a preheated 180 g of oven for 40 minutes or until brown. 10 mins before the end sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of brown sugar. I think that should be caramel, but I didn't do that, next time, sprinkle with sugar will not.
