Shortbread biscuits with Royal icing / Shortbread Cookies with Royal Icing
Very tasty, elegant, new year's recipe. Is very simple and fast.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Butter

    125 g

  • Sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Water

    6 Tbsp

  • Vanilla sugar

    2 tsp

  • Leavening agent

  • Egg white

    1 piece

  • Lemon juice

    1 tsp

  • Powdered sugar

    165 g

  • Salt

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • The food dye

Dough: For the dough mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add the chopped pieces of cold butter and 6 tablespoons of water. Knead homogeneous dough. Wrap in plastic wrap for an hour refrigerate.

Roll out the dough, molds cut figures.

On a baking sheet, greased, lay out the biscuits and brush them on top with the beaten egg. Bake at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Royal icing: with a Mixer beat whites with lemon juice.
