Cooking
Dough: For the dough mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add the chopped pieces of cold butter and 6 tablespoons of water. Knead homogeneous dough. Wrap in plastic wrap for an hour refrigerate.
Roll out the dough, molds cut figures.
On a baking sheet, greased, lay out the biscuits and brush them on top with the beaten egg. Bake at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Here are the finished biscuits.
Royal icing: with a Mixer beat whites with lemon juice.
Add the sifted powdered sugar and beat on low speed until a homogeneous, smooth mass.
Add food coloring if necessary.
The frosting must be used immediately or transfer to airtight container as icing hardens when exposed to air.
