Almost 30 years ago my husband served in Germany, then often gashtet ate this dish recently came across this recipe and repeated the forgotten recipe of youth. Cranberry sauce d arbo very combine with the cabbage.

Cooking
Onion (I used red) wash, peel, cut into half rings.
Red cabbage shinkuem thin strips.
Heat the pan, put the butter.
Lightly fry the onions in butter.
Add shinkovannoy cabbage. Stir.
Cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the red wine vinegar. Stir.
Take the cranberry sauce d arbo.
Add the cranberry sauce d arbo for braised cabbage.
Add salt to taste, freshly ground allspice and black pepper, Bay leaf. Stir.
Pour in half a glass of water, stir, simmer 20 minutes on low heat with the lid closed.
