Bread for toast on sourdough
Very soft and tasty bread leavened with butter flavor.

Ingredients

  • Sourdough

    90 g

  • Water

    140 ml

  • Flour

    460 g

  • Milk

    180 ml

  • Sugar

    25 g

  • Salt

    7 g

  • Soda

    0.3 tsp

  • Butter

    15 g

For the dough to combine the starter, 40 g water and 60 g.of flour.

Cover with cling film and leave to rise in a warm place (25 - 30 degrees) for 2 hours to increase in volume twice.

Milk bring to the boil and dissolve in it the butter, sugar and salt. Cool the mixture to 30 degrees.

Warm the milk mixture and stir in yeast mixture, 100 ml water, soda and knead a soft dough, gradually adding 400 g of flour.

Leave in a warm place for 2 hours to increase 2 to 2.5 times, covered with cling film.

Then punch down the dough.

And again leave in a warm place for one hour, covered with foil. During this time the dough will increase in 2 - 2,5 times.

Approached from dough formed into a ball and put it in a baking dish with a diameter of 17 cm.

The form with the dough cover with cling film and leave to rise in a warm place for 1.5 hours.

Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 45 minutes.
