Stewed red beans with vegetables and pasta
A hot entrée is something that we need on cold days. I like soups of legumes, they are very thick and rich taste. After eating this dish, on the second you can cook a small portion of meat or fish with vegetables. This dish is almost vegetarian, except for the ham, you can cook in the post.

Ingredients

  • Pasta

    200 g

  • Beans

    350 g

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

    1 piece

  • Turnips

    1 piece

  • Ham

    75 g

  • Olive oil

  • Thyme

  • Bay leaf

    2 piece

  • Salt

  • The mixture of peppers

Cooking

The products required. Soak the beans overnight. The next day drain the water, pour beans 1 liter of pure water and put on fire. Add the washed Bay leaf. Bring to boil and pour half a Cup of cold water to stop boiling. Repeat this step two more times. Cook for about an hour before the end add salt.

Carrots, celery and turnip to clean and wash. Dice vegetables into cubes.

Add to the pot of beans and continue to cook for another 10 min.

Pour the pasta.

Add thyme, pepper and Bay leaf. It needs more salt, if necessary, and cook according to instructions on the package of pasta so that it remains al dente.

A little olive oil preheat a frying pan, the meat cut into small cubes and saute a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
