Pie, seared by the flames
Delicate Apple pie enveloped in a blue flame of fire. "That's real theatre," said the daughter.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    275 g

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Butter

    150 g

  • Apple

    6 piece

  • Walnuts

    50 g

  • Nutmeg

    0.25 tsp

  • Vanilla

    1 pack

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Cinnamon

    0.5 tsp

  • Jam

  • Cognac

    60 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

Cooking

In flour, add powdered sugar, then softened butter, egg.

Knead the dough. The dough chill in the fridge for 2 hours.

Apples cut into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice.

Nuts grind.

To the nuts add the cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, brown sugar and lemon zest.

Roll the dough (I prefer using plastic bags) and place on a baking sheet.

The dough prick with a fork, sprinkle with mixture of nuts and apples to put scales on top of each other. Bake in preheated oven at 180C on the middle shelf for 35-40min. Ready warm pie to grease with jam.

Warm the brandy, pour into ladle, ignite.

Pour the burning brandy pie.

Brandy can still burn, though the flame does not seen. If the apples are hard to char - blow out the flame.
