Spicy lentils with caramelized onions
Nice warming, spicy, nutritious dish vegetarinskoe.

Ingredients

  • Lentils

    125 g

  • Peas

    1 can

  • Mushrooms

    100 g

  • Carrots

    2 piece

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    8 tooth

  • Tomato

    3 piece

  • Broth

    400 ml

  • Soy sauce

    4 Tbsp

  • Vegetable oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Ginger

    1 Tbsp

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

Cooking

Peel the carrots, cut each lengthwise into four pieces, then sliced across. Garlic peel and cut into thin slices.

Reheat in the pan a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. Put carrots and garlic, sauté for 5 minutes.

Add the chopped mushrooms.

Flavored with soy sauce. I have irreplaceable Kikkoman. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.

Tomatoes to RUB on a large grater, ginger - into small. Add to the pot. Bring to a boil.

Meanwhile, heat a large skillet in the remaining oil. Put the onions cut into half rings, sprinkle with brown sugar and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes, until the onions fry.

After 30 minutes in a saucepan put peas without liquid, cook for another 10-15 minutes.
