Warm snack cake
Crispy layers of puff pastry with a hearty filling aromatic! A simple and tasty option for a snack cake.

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry

    300 g

  • Turkey

    300 g

  • Mushrooms

    300 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Soy sauce

    4 Tbsp

  • Dutch cheese

    200 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

The puff pastry I took in square formations. Defrost the dough and bake until ready. I did two cake, so a cake it took me three layers. I.e., one plate after baking, cut in half lengthwise and take another half. Four layers seemed to me a lot, and two little.

Onion cut into half rings, fry until Golden brown.

Mushrooms cut into strips and add to the onions.

The Turkey cut into strips and add to mushrooms and onions. Salt, pepper, add Kikkoman soy sauce. Low down the heat and simmer until cooked turkeys.

RUB cheese on a coarse grater.

If you are going to serve the cake immediately, then gather it can be hot, not waiting until they cool down dough and filling. I did harvest the evening, and was served in the morning. So I cooled the cakes and the filling and assembled the cake. Spread half of the filling on the bottom cake.

On top spread half of the cheese.

Cover with a second cake layer and repeat the procedure. Leave a pinch of cheese for sprinkling the top. Cover with third layer and sprinkle with cheese.

Here's a preset I did. In the morning, put the cake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 15 minutes to melt the cheese.
