Cooking
Prepare the necessary products. I use a pea "Idaho" from the Mistral, it is good because it does not require long soaking, it turns a soft, creamy structure.
Rinse peas, cover with water in a ratio of 1:2, add Bay leaf, bring to boil and simmer over low heat 30-40 minutes until tender. I'm using ready mashed potato, if you cook potatoes specifically, or raw potatoes cut into large cubes and add it 10 minutes before end of cooking the peas.
Until cooked peas onions clear and finely chop, carrots to clean and RUB on a small grater. Fry the onions and carrots in vegetable oil until tender.
Add mashed potatoes, sauteed vegetables, again to blend it all together.
Add spices, salt, finely chopped dill, mix properly.
The form lay a film and to spread weight evenly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, slightly press. Put the form in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
2 hours to get neatly cut into strips, place on a baking sheet, the laid paper, a silicone Mat or Teflon sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
These are beautiful and tasty sticks. Can be served with soup, tea, with milk, to salads, as a garnish for fish or meat. hot they are soft and tender, cool become denser.
