Cooking
Milk should be poured in a large saucepan, add the Bay leaf, pepper, nutmeg and sliced (large) onion. For me this combination is a bit crazy, but after I realized it has this spicy milk for the sauce. Need of milk, bring to boil on low heat, then cover, remove from heat and set aside for 15-20 minutes. I have slightly added some salt milk before.
Cauliflower boil in salted water until tender (but not overcook it).
Macaroni and also boil and drain the water.
In a pan melt the butter, add the flour and sauté it for 1 minute.
Milk strain from the spices and onions. The onion remove from heat and gently portions to enter her hot spicy strained the milk, constantly whisking the browned vegetables. Put the sauce on the heat and, stirring constantly, cook for 5 minutes.
Add in the sauce and half of the grated cheese and stir. Season to taste (salt, pepper). Remove from heat.

Bake under the grill until Golden brown. I love the cheesy crust, therefore, kept under the grill 7 minutes. In General, it is sufficient to wait for the melt cheese. Can be baked in the oven.
