Apricot pie
I have ripe apricots - a large, bright, fragrant, and I really wanted to bake a cake in orange tones, which I did. The cake turns out very tender, juicy on the inside, and closer to the edge of the pale crumbly. Done quickly eaten even faster.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    120 g

  • Corn flour

    140 g

  • Margarine

    250 g

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Sugar

    1.5 cup

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Apricot

    500 g

Softened margarine or butter to mix with sugar.

Drive egg, add the flour, baking powder and mix well. The original recipe used only wheat flour. I also wanted orange and I am a part replaced on cornmeal (NOT grits!!!). Corn flour gave our own particular unique taste.

Apricots cut into slices, you can sprinkle them with lemon juice so they do not darkened.

Form grease with oil and spread the dough. I have a FORM SIZE - 26 cm Lay out apricots on the dough, lightly pressing them into the dough. Here is orange the sun is out. Put in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 30-40 minutes. Readiness check the match (with a toothpick).

Let cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Of course, when baking a cake has lost its Golden color. But the aroma and taste of just on top. Cornmeal gave their flavor.

The middle of the cake well, very tender and juicy, the edge more crisp, but tender, kind of remind me a cookie, I can't remember what. Tart brew strong black tea, add freshly-picked mint leaves, lemon balm, marjoram and enjoy a warm summer evening.
