Oat straw with cheese
Cheese and oat straws are crispy as puff pastry. If lubricating egg sprinkled with salt, is the perfect beer snack. And another tip - the smaller the straw, the faster it will bake.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    115 g

  • Mustard

    1 tsp

  • Oat flakes

    75 g

  • Butter

    115 g

  • Cheese

    75 g

  • Milk

    5 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Black pepper

  • Chicken egg

Cooking

In a bowl, combine the flour, mustard, oat flakes, salt, pepper.

Stir in the butter. I rubbed it on a grater, then all was stirred. Add grated cheese and milk.

Knead a stiff dough. To put it in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Remove from refrigerator and roll out to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut into strips of any length, 5-6 mm in width.

Spread strips on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Beat the egg with a little water and spread it with a brush our stripes. Bake in heated oven for 10-15 minutes at 220 degrees.
