Dessert
The basis of Turkish flour dessert halwa. Adding dessert notes of cinnamon and orange, turn an ordinary candy as a festive Christmas dessert.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    0.5 l

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Yolk egg

    2 piece

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Cinnamon

    1 Tbsp

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Margarine

    125 g

  • Pine nuts

    1.5 Tbsp

Milk, sugar and the egg yolks stir well. Optionally, you can add in the milk, the orange zest.

In a saucepan melt the margarine, pour the nuts. Stir, fry nuts (1-2 minutes).

Then, while stirring, add the flour. Continue to fry until the nuts begin to darken (about 5-10 minutes). Do not forget to stir.

Slowly add the flour milk egg yolk and sugar, while well stirring with a whisk. On medium heat cook for our dessert, while good thickens.

With the help of a spoon for ice cream (or a regular tablespoon, but help yourself with your hands) form balls. The balls spread on a plate. Of this number of products you get about 14 balls.

Cut slices of orange, spread between the balls. Sprinkle with cinnamon, decorate with orange "streamers". From the remaining orange, squeeze the juice directly into the dessert.
