Pears in red wine with pepper
National French Christmas dessert. Spicy and very tasty! For the contest "new year tastes of the planet."

Ingredients

  • Pear

    3 piece

  • Semi-sweet red wine

    300 ml

  • Water

    100 ml

  • Sugar

    300 g

  • Black pepper

    7 piece

  • Carnation

    2 piece

In the wine pour the water.

Pour the sugar.

Add the peppers and cloves.

Pears cleaned, tails left behind. The mixture is brought to boiling, put pears, cover, diminish the fire almost to low (on my electric stove, maximum "9", I left "3"), and tormented for 20-25 minutes. If pears are not completely covered by liquid (depending on size of pears), they need to from time to time to turn.

Cool pears in syrup is better. To serve cold, watering syrup.
