Crispy puffs with sour pineapple and sweet cream.

  • Pineapple

    3 Tbsp

  • Vanilla

    2 g

  • Starch

    3 tsp

  • Milk

    0.5 cup

  • Brown sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Puff pastry

First, caramelize the pineapples. In a frying pan put sugar and butter. Bring to dissolve the sugar and put pineapple. Cook on medium heat until then, until the pieces are covered with sugar caramel. If you want a pronounced sour taste, when boiling, pour a little lemon juice.

Now prepare the cream. For this, milk, sugar, vanilla and starch mix in the pan and stir, ovarium until thick. The yolks in another bowl mix and whisk, add in the milk mixture. Pour while beating the yolks into the milk mixture and put on a small fire. Stirring, boil until thick.

Roll the dough in one direction slightly. Cut into 4 rectangles. To cut the strips to make squares. Put in a muffin tin.

The strips are cut into 3 strips. From strips, we braid it.

Now in baskets on the bottom tightly lay a pineapple on top and pour the cream. Put the braid as a handle.

Bake at t = 180 20 - 25 min. Can be eaten warm or cold. Unfortunately, there is no incision. Too fragile dough and a sweet filling.
