I always liked the meals in a hot pan, a good, cast-iron, which retains heat and fills the dish with some special aura. Offer for dinner hot skillet with homemade dumplings, cottage cheese, which gives a great creamy taste and a touch of garlic sets my mood. Very simple and very tasty!
