Vegetable julienne with squid
Julien is usually done with heavy cream, I want to offer you the recipe of lean Julien. This option is not inferior in taste to the original but can be used in the post.

Ingredients

  • Squid

    500 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    1 tsp

  • Flour

    1 Tbsp

  • Starch

    1 Tbsp

  • Black pepper

    0.25 tsp

  • Salt

    0.333 tsp

  • Cereal bread

    1 Tbsp

  • Water

    12 Tbsp

Cooking

Squid clean, boil for 2 minutes in salted water and cut into strips.

Onion peel and cut into strips. In a pan pour olive and vegetable oils.

Put the onion and fry over low heat until transparent and achieve a light Golden brown.

In a bowl mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of wheat flour.

Pour 12 tablespoons of water and stir thoroughly until lumps disappear.

To transparent Golden onions add the chopped squid, pour the mixture of starch, flour and water and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Try, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Heated about 3 minutes with constant stirring.
