Orange granite
Granite is a popular cold dessert, indispensable in the summer heat.

Ingredients

  • Orange

    400 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Water

    1 cup

One of the oranges, cut into very thin slices.

In a pan pour a glass of water, add sugar and put on fire stirring the mixture until the sugar is dissolved.

Slices of orange to drop lower into the syrup for 10 seconds.

A bowl or Cup to make a film. Remove the oranges from the syrup and put them a bowl overlap. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Then remove and release from the film.

From oranges to remove the zest and add it to the syrup. Syrup remove from heat and allow to cool.

Squeeze the juice from oranges and lemon.

The cooled syrup, drain and mix with orange and lemon juice.

Put the mixture in the freezer and occasionally stir with a fork every 20 to 40 minutes. Granite ready to put it in a bowl of oranges.
