Ingredients

  • Pumpkin

  • Sugar

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Water

    400 ml

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

From this quantity of products turned out 1.5 liters of jam. If the pumpkin is watery, it is necessary to reduce the amount of added water.

Like apricot jam, cut the pumpkin slices, pour water and put on fire. While it slowly boils, clean and cut the apples added to the pumpkin. Bring to a boil, switch flame to low and cook the pumpkin with the apples for 30 minutes.

Following the recipe, I took a special sugar for jam - gelling (pictured). With it jam after boiling, boil for 4 minutes. If you have a regular sugar, then cook for another 30 minutes.

Add in pumpkin and Apple puree, sugar, cinnamon, juice of a lemon or orange (I got lemon), bring the jam to a boil and cook for 4 minutes (produced from sugar) or 30 minutes (with the usual sugar).

Hot jam from pour to coat hanger into sterilized jars, tighten the lids and turn the jars upside down to cool. Cooked jam in the evening, poured the liquid. On the lower photo jam in the morning - thick.
