Ginger in the Sahara
On the website there is already one recipe for "Candied ginger" from the cook's Stall, but my simplified and a burning option. Other similar recipes are not found.

Ingredients

  • Ginger

    250 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Water

    0.5 cup

Peel the ginger.

Cut into circles, ovals.

The sugar will dissolve in water. Not necessary to achieve complete dissolution.

In a small saucepan put ginger and pour over the syrup.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium temperature and boil, stirring constantly. Until the syrup thickens. I all took about 35-40 minutes.

Ginger is ready to remove the fork from the syrup and roll in sugar.

Put on a dry surface, allow to cool.
