Cooking
Fresh frozen herring defrost in the fridge. Remove the innards, gills and rinse well. Remove with a tissue excess moisture with a thin Sharp knife make a cut from the tail along the spine on both sides and remove the backbone and rib bones. The head is not cut off, the fish seemingly intact. Of course, you can cut the herring fillets on a clean and bake the fillets. But it looks presentable (in my opinion)
Combine the soy sauce "Kikkoman", lemon juice and grainy mustard
Place the herring in a baking dish. Onions cut into half rings. In the herring and spread with marinade and place between strips of fillet chopped onion
Top brush leftover marinade. Tighten the form of foil and leave in refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour (possible more)
Boiled beets and cheese grate, add a little salt and sour cream, stir
Put this beet "coat" on top of the fish, leaving the head and tail. Put in heated to 180 degrees oven. Bake for about 25-35 minutes (focus on your oven)
Serve hot with slices of lemon. To say that it's divinely tasty - nothing to say. Juicy fatty fish and tasty cheese and a beet crust! The familiar smell of herring is missing. You will discover this fish again, I assure you!
