Cabbage pie with cheese
Quick, hearty, delicious cake with NAPA cabbage, cheese and walnuts. And use prepared puff pastry dough makes it a lifesaver for the arrival of unexpected guests. Come on in, help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Cabbage

    300 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Cheese

    100 g

  • Walnuts

    40 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • The dough is flaky yeast

    500 g

  • Chicken egg

    0.25 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Butter

    45 g

Onion cut into small dice. In a pan melt the butter, sauté onions 5 minutes.

To the onions add the finely chopped cabbage, add 2 tbsp oil and fry on slow heat for about 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat, cool. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Cheese to grate on a coarse grater. I used cheese "Marble" MK Belebeevsky.

Walnuts chopped.

Puff pastry is defrosted. I got in a pack of 2 square reservoir for 250 grams. Single layer roll out on a floured worktop to size, a little more baking. Form lightly lubricate with oil. The dough is put in the form.

The second part as well roll out the size of the form. With a knife make slits evenly to obtain the mesh.

On top of the cake to lubricate the loose end with a couple of drops of water egg. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes or until Browning. The finished cake to give a little rest, then remove from the mold and serve.
