What Christmas table without a traditional "Herring under a fur coat"? Suggest another recipe for the buffet table.

Boiled potatoes peel and grate on a coarse grater.
Boiled carrots cleaned to grate on a coarse grater, to send to the potato.
Do the same with boiled beets. The vegetables I cooked in a slow cooker, for a couple, they turn out watery.
To the vegetables add the finely chopped onion, mayonnaise and Kikkoman soy sauce (instead of salt). Mix well.
Rye bread cut into squares or rectangles. Of vegetable mass roll into balls and lay them on the bread. On top of a piece of herring and a skewer (or a toothpick), for that would make it easier to pick up.
