Cakes with wild rice
When I have cooked rice, I cook rice balls. This time I decided to cook them with Wild rice Mistral aquatics. Turned out delicious, pretty cakes. Can be served with first dishes, and can be used for sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • Milk

    250 ml

  • Honey

    1 Tbsp

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

  • Cilantro

    1 Tbsp

  • Yeast

    15 g

  • Flour

    500 g

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Wild rice

  • Olive oil

    2 Tbsp

Cooking

RUB the flour with the yeast. Add cumin, salt. In warm milk dissolve the honey and pour in the flour, kneading the dough.

At the end of kneading add the rice.

Herbs and oil. Knead the dough for 10 minutes. First, it will slightly stick to hands.

Put the dough in a Cup, cover and remove to approach. The dough should increase 2 times. Then divide the dough into 8 parts, to form a pellet. I did with a thickness of about 0.5 cm, a diameter of 7-10cm. Leave the cakes for 10 minutes for the secondary approach.

Preheat the oven together with the baking tray to 240S. Then transfer the scones to the baking sheet, reduce the temperature to 220S and bake 5 minutes. Then reduce to 200C and bake for another 5-10 minutes until tender. Be guided by your oven. Bon appetit!
