Description
This, I must tell you, something indescribable! The tenderest, softest pudding with a delightful cream sauce... yum! More and the plate will want to lick :) One of the most delicious desserts I have tasted.

Cooking
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Form for baking grease with butter and line a rimmed baking paper. I do not recommend the use of a deep form, say, a pudding it is difficult to propagate. It is better to use individual ramekins or small large. Dates and soda put in a bowl.
Pour boiling water and leave for 20 minutes.
Beat the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.
Stir the egg mixture into the dates, using a metal spoon.
Add flour mixed with baking powder. Carefully stir the dough.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared mold or form.
Bake about 35 minutes until dry toothpick. Invert on a plate.
Now make the sauce. I'm doing 1.5 dose, I like to sauce it a little more. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce starts to boil. Reduce heat and cook for another couple minutes.
Do punctures with a fork across the surface of the pudding. Pour some warm sauce into warm pudding. Leave for 10 minutes to soak.
Cut the pudding into pieces and serve, pouring the remaining sauce. Bon appetit! It is very tasty!
