Sponge Roll with Jam
Wanted sponge rolls, here and prepared.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    6 piece

  • Potato starch

    1 tsp

  • Jam

    300 g

  • Powdered sugar

    3 Tbsp

  • Water

    150 ml

Proteins separated from the yolks. In the yolks to put 3/4 of sugar of the total number and beat. Separately, beat egg whites to increase in volume in 4-5 times, in the end, add the remaining sugar.

1/3 of beaten egg whites combine with the yolks, add the flour and stir.

Then add the rest of the protein, and again gently mix.

Pour the batter on the laid parchment and greased with oil or margarine baking sheet, flatten. It must be done quickly. Place in oven and bake at 180*C (this is in my oven) for 20-25min.

The dough should be Golden brown and have a springy surface.

Then make a syrup of 3 tablespoons of sugar and 150 ml water.

The cooled cake to moisten with syrup. In this syrup you can add a different taste essence 2-3 drops (if someone wants).

Then spread the jam on the biscuit

And level it across the surface.

Turn biscuit dough into a roll. If the edges crack, do not panic.

Roll can be left in this form, as it is, and can be cut into pieces.
