Cottage cheese-poppy seed roll
This recipe is unusual dough with almonds. And lots of juicy fragrant poppy-seed filling. Well, very tasty!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Cheese

    200 g

  • Sour cream

    1 Tbsp

  • Butter

    75 g

  • Leavening agent

    1.5 tsp

  • Lemon peel

  • Sugar

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Almonds

    40 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Mac

    130 g

  • Sugar

    60 g

  • Milk

    130 g

Cooking

In a Cup mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and zest.

Grate the butter out of the freezer on a large grater. Stir and break the egg. Add cottage cheese (dry). Quickly knead the dough. If you need to add a spoonful of sour cream.

Wrap the dough in a package, slightly flatten and put into the refrigerator for half an hour.

Mac grind small portions in a coffee grinder (or mortar).

Boil the milk with sugar, pour Mac.

Roll out the dough, sprinkle with ground nuts. Fold three times and roll out again. Not very thin. The size of the rectangle about 20 by 30 cm.

Shape the dough into a loaf and bake in pre-heated oven for about 40 minutes. Recommended temperature is 180. I baked for 30 at a temperature of 180 degrees and slightly cracked. So for my oven temperature was too high.
