Vegetable balls in tomato sauce
Balls of cauliflower and potatoes in a spicy tomato sauce for the contest "Fast from Moulinex".

Ingredients

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

  • Ginger

    2 tsp

  • Greens

    3 Tbsp

  • Corn flour

    100 g

  • Cauliflower

    0.5 piece

  • Potatoes

    3 piece

  • Tomato

    5 piece

  • Turmeric

    1.5 tsp

  • The mixture of peppers

    0.5 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

Cooking

First prepare the tomato sauce: c tomatoes, remove the skins (after dropping them in boiling water) and using a blender grind into a puree.

Mix the spices: 1 tsp of ginger + 0.5 tsp. mixture of pepper + 1 tsp cumin + 0.5 tsp. turmeric

Heated 1 tbsp oil in a saucepan over medium heat and fry our spices, stirring for a few seconds.

Put the tomatoes in the saucepan, stir and salt to taste. Cover with a lid, reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After 20 minutes it turns out to be tomato sauce.

And while the sauce is cooking, make the balls: Potato peel and grate on a coarse grater. Cauliflower wash, razbiram on the inflorescence and also RUB on a large grater.

Vegetables stir and add: corn flour, parsley, chopped garlic, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tsp turmeric and salt to taste.

Vegetables carefully knead for 2-3 minutes. Grated potato should give enough moisture to bind all of the components.

Then formed 20-30 small balls.

Fry the balls in well heated oil until Golden brown

Lay them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Then put the balls into a bowl for serving and pour the hot tomato sauce. BON APPETIT!
