Orange-walnut brownie
Tender, moist, rich nutty, with a bright orange flavor with pieces of brownie! What could be better in the winter, cold day to a hot Cup of tea?!

Ingredients

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Flour

    300 g

  • Walnuts

    120 g

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Butter

    200 g

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Chocolate milk

    50 g

  • Leavening agent

    10 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

Cooking

With orange to remove the zest and squeeze the juice.

Beautiful walnut halves aside for decoration (8-9 pieces), the rest coarsely chopped with a knife.

Butter cut into pieces and put in a bowl, add sugar, put on low fire.

Pour into the sugar-oil mixture with orange juice. Mix well. When the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat, allow to cool.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, pinch of salt, baking powder, chopped nuts, orange zest and grated chocolate (chocolate, I cooled and rubbed on a coarse grater).

Add the eggs and stir.

The cooled sugar-butter mixture pour into the flour and mix well.

The batter should be quite thick.

Rectangular baking dish (I have a size 29 cm x 20 cm) with baking paper, pour the dough, spread the top halves of nuts.

Put to bake in a preheated 190 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Brownies are ready remove from the oven, allow to cool and leave overnight to infuse and open to all flavors!
