Canapes with beetroot pesto
Original holiday appetizer with herring on New Year's day.

Ingredients

  • Bread

    4 slice

  • Herring

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    2 tooth

  • Cheese

    40 g

  • Olive oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Beets

    1 piece

  • Walnuts

    40 g

  • Dill

    1 sprig

Cooking

Prepare the ingredients. Boiled beetroot cut into pieces.

Put in a blender beets.

Add the walnuts.

Add the garlic, passed through the press, and grated beets.

Grind in a blender until smooth, gradually adding olive oil.

From bread to cut out the stars with cutting for biscuit.

On a dish lay bread "asterisk", top gently lay beetroot pesto.

On top lay the second piece of bread.

The herring, lay on top, pierced canape skewer, decorate with a sprig of dill. Bon appetit!
