Salad with rice and chicken
Salad with chicken, rice and celery with herbs will serve as a great start to the new year's meal. Don't take up much space in the stomach and prepare for a hearty hot dishes of the holiday table.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet

    200 g

  • The Apium graveolens Dulce

    2 piece

  • Apple

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Yogurt

    3 Tbsp

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Lemon juice

    1 Tbsp

  • Mint

    1 pinch

  • Spices

    0.5 tsp

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

Celery stalks, finely chop.

For this dish I use white fragrant Jasmine rice from TM "Mistral".

Boil the rice until tender. Don't be surprised and don't laugh. But the rice I cooked together with celery. As my family don't eat it raw. You can use fresh.

Boiled chicken or Turkey finely chop.

Apple sour or sour-sweet varieties, cut into small cubes. Sprinkle with lemon juice to avoid darkening.

Mix ingredients for salad dressing: Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice and herbs. Crush the garlic cloves and add to the dressing. Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix all ingredients for salad, to fill. To put for 30 minutes in the cold and ready to serve.
