Ingredients

  • Flour

    230 g

  • Margarine

    180 ml

  • Brown sugar

    220 g

  • Chicken egg

    3 piece

  • Beets

    150 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Raisins

    70 g

  • Pumpkin seeds

    70 g

  • Powdered sugar

    3 Tbsp

Cooking

melt margarine,cool slightly,add sugar

beat with a mixer until the sugar dissolves

add the egg yolks one at a time,whisking after each addition

then add lemon juice

raisins(soak in hot water for five minutes and dry)

stir,add the sifted flour(if regular flour that you mix with baking soda and baking powder,then sift)

beat chilled whites with a pinch of salt,until thick fluffy mass

add the whites to the batter in small portions,stirring gently with a whisk upward motion

form grease with oil,sprinkle with flour and pour the dough,bake in pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until the cake is fully baked

remove from oven and allow to cool to lukewarm

in protein add the powdered sugar and whisk,gradually adding the lemon juice.
