Description
"Pumpkin Pie" Fritz prepares dessert for Wolfe real open pie stuffed with roast pumpkin. Originally this cake is made entirely of molasses. There is even a legend that the first inhabitants of Connecticut was once postponed the celebration of Thanksgiving due to the fact that they had procured a sufficient amount of molasses to pumpkin pie. Help yourself, very tasty!

Cooking
Take the pumpkin (sweet pumpkin is not significant)
cut slices, bake in the oven until soft. Can to a boil.
While the pumpkin is cooking, make the dough. The dough can be done in my favorite recipe, since the whole "raisins" in the pumpkin filling. But I did not deviate from the recipe and prepared the dough the Fritz. Sift the flour and make a deepening in the middle in which to put the egg yolks, sugar, salt and butter, cut into small pieces.
Knead a tight dough. Flatten the dough into a ball, wrap in foil or waxed paper and put in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Remove dough from the refrigerator. To press down. Roll out dough round Plast
put in a baking dish. To form ledges.
Break the eggs into a Cup, add sugar and
pour in the molasses. Molasses in a pinch you can substitute liquid honey. I have brown honey - why such an interesting color.
The pumpkin crushed with a mixer (blender) and
add to the stuffing. Pour the cream.
Season with salt, ginger and cinnamon.
Carefully whisk until smooth.
Don't worry that the filling will be too liquid, it hardens to the desired consistency.
A small ladle to carefully pour the filling into the middle of the dough.
Caution and send in a preheated 200 C oven for 10 minutes, then screwing up to 170-180 C and bake for another 30-40 minutes. Optional pie can be closed (modern traditions do not prohibit it). After baking the filling rises, after cooling is lowered to the original level.
Bon appetit. Be sure to view the section ( see below) – very nice!
