Description
Cake flavored with a hint of almond, candied fruits, raisins and cherries. The recipe for this dish was posted on the website in the 2009 user Lake called "Pie "Forest miracle" and is illustrated with me in the framework of "Coloring".

Cooking
The whites (from 2 eggs) beat with half the sugar and a pinch of salt until stable peaks.
Separately, lightly beat eggs and yolks with the remaining sugar, add the lemon zest. Gently stir in the beaten egg whites.
Mix the flour, starch and baking powder, sift, add to the batter and mix.
Add melted and cooled butter, chopped candied fruit, almonds, raisins, cherries, spices, cognac. Mix well.
Form for baking grease oil and sprinkle flour. Put the dough in the form and put in preheated to 180°C oven. Bake for about an hour (it all depends on your oven) until "dry toothpick".
The finished cake to cool in the form. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate with candies. Bon appetit!
