Suggest you try the delicious waffles on the lard. They are soft, tender and very tasty.

Cooking
Eggs, protein, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar beat well with a whisk.
Pour in the melted lard ( at the moment I have goose fat, but properties are the same), mix well.
Add honey, stir and pour cold milk.
Gradually introduce the sifted flour mixed with soda.
Dough leave for 2 hour at room temperature.
Here it is should be liquid. Slightly thicker than for pancakes. If you have gustavito ( the other flour), add a little milk.
Bake on preheated waffle iron greased with vegetable oil ( I have the 5 mode).
And here is the finished cake. Or rather the remnants that managed to save...
