Strudel with fragrant zucchini
Delicious vegetable strudel, a great addition to a vegetarian menu. Crisp batter and tender juicy stuffing!

Ingredients

  • Flour

    200 g

  • Vegetable oil

    50 ml

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Water

    75 ml

  • Zucchini

    3 piece

  • Garlic

    3 tooth

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Vegetable oil

    3 Tbsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Black pepper

    0.25 tsp

  • Bread crumbs

    2 Tbsp

Sift flour, add salt. Make a well in the flour and pour in the vegetable oil and half a serving of water. Stir with a spoon.

Add the remaining water, knead the dough. Roll it into a ball and leave to rest, covered with a towel.

Cut onion into cubes, fry until Golden brown in vegetable oil.

Add chopped small diced courgettes and finely chopped garlic.

Fry until Golden brown. At the end of frying salt and pepper to taste. The stuffing is ready.

Work surface sprinkle with flour, thinly roll out the dough. The dough is obedient, does not stick to the surface, easily rolled! Sprinkle the dough with breadcrumbs.

Spread the filling.

Roll the strudel into a tight roll. If your filling is still warm (like me), it should be done quickly until a thin dough is beginning to unravel. Then transfer the strudel on a baking tray, covered with baking paper.

Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Serve, both hot and cold.
