Chocolate cake

Ingredients

  • Dark chocolate

    350 g

  • Butter

    120 g

  • Sugar

    0.5 cup

  • Flour

    1 cup

  • Chicken egg

    6 piece

  • Powdered sugar

  • Leavening agent

    1 Tbsp

  • Jam

    300 g

  • Lemon juice

  • Water

    8 tsp

Prepare the dough. Melt the chocolate (150 g) in a water bath.

In a bowl of warm chocolate, add the butter (120 g) and sugar, whisk well.

Separate the yolks from the whites.

Yolks, one at a time, add to chocolate mixture, whisking each time until smooth.

Separately, beat whites with powdered sugar.

The beaten egg whites and baking powder, add to chocolate mixture, give everything a good stir.

Then add the flour and again mix everything carefully.

Prepare a baking dish and preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Spread the batter into the pan and gently distribute the dough with a spatula. Put into the oven and bake for about 50 minutes. Readiness check cake with a toothpick, it should be dry and clean.

Take out the cake from the oven and allow it to cool a little. Take out the cake from the mold and cut into two halves.

Prepare the glaze. Melt the chocolate (200 g) in a water bath, add the powdered sugar, butter (2 tbsp) and lemon juice. Stirring constantly, add one teaspoon of hot water (8 tsp.). Stir until smooth consistency. The frosting is ready.
