Potatoes, stewed with olives and lemon
I suggest you to try interesting and tasty option for cooking potatoes. Such potatoes can be cooked as separate dishes or as a side dish to fish or poultry.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes

    800 g

  • Green olives

    200 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

    4 Tbsp

  • Water

    1.5 cup

  • Cumin

    1 tsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Black pepper

    0.5 tsp

  • Parsley

Here are our main ingredients

With lemon remove the zest carefully. Potatoes cut coarsely. Olives cut into slices.

Prepare the dressing in which to stew the potatoes. Mix together olives, lemon zest, cumin, water, salt, pepper and butter. Since olive oil, the product is quite expensive, I use sunflower with olive TM "Oleyna".

Potatoes, mix, sprinkle with lemon juice (if of a large lemon, 1/4 of a lemon if small, then 1/3).

Put potatoes in pan and pour lemon-olive dressing.

Sent on the stove, bring to a boil and turn down the gas fire. Cover with a lid and simmer until the potatoes are done, stirring occasionally. Before serving sprinkle with chopped greens.
