Polenta with a sauce of tomato
Great aunt of my husband lives in Italy! So she shared a simple, affordable whole recipe! It turns out delicious!

Ingredients

  • Corn grits

    200 g

  • Tomato

    400 g

  • Olive oil

    1 Tbsp

  • Cheese

    150 g

  • Cream

    50 ml

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Paprika sweet

    1 tsp

  • Oregano

    0.5 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Salt

  • Parsley

Cooking

In half a liter of boiling water (or broth), stirring, pour the corn grits. Cook on low fire until tender, stirring occasionally

In the finished porridge add the grated cheese (100g), mix thoroughly

After, pour in vegetable oil and cream, mix well.

The polenta is ready pour into pan, smooth the surface with your palm (palm moisten with cold water), allow to cool completely.

Now for the sauce. Wash tomatoes, cut into small pieces

To butter, add oregano, paprika and chopped garlic

On a hot pan, put half the spicy oil and pour the tomatoes and fry for 7-10 minutes. After, add the chopped parsley and remaining butter, stir and remove from heat.

Cooled polenta cut and slightly to fry in olive oil.

On top of the polenta to spread the sauce and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
