Millet pancakes
Very tasty and tender pancakes made with millet flakes.

Ingredients

  • Millet

    1 cup

  • Milk

    5 cup

  • Vegetable oil

    0.5 cup

  • Flour

    3 cup

  • Yeast

    1 pack

  • Sugar

    2 Tbsp

  • Salt

    1 tsp

  • Water

    0.25 cup

I baked half portion. Three cups of milk to boil, pour a Cup of millet flakes and cook porridge, cooking time depends on your cereals (indicated on the package). Put to cool the porridge to room temperature.

Then to the pulp add 3 cups of flour, mix thoroughly to avoid lumps, then add 1 Cup warm milk, salt, sugar, vegetable oil and yeast, diluted in a small amount (about 0.25 cups) of warm water, again mix well.

The dishes with the dough cover with a towel and leave to rise, to increase in volume about 2 times.

When the dough has risen, add 1 Cup of warm milk, stir and leave for 20 minutes.

Bake pancakes on the heated pan (preferably with thick walls; cast-iron, greased with vegetable oil) on both sides.

Baked pancake smeared with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
