Description

Cake for the yolks
For the third year bake cakes myself and only for this recipe (from Good food website). Always turns out successfully, a main conditions for obtaining good cakes is a fresh yeast and a good mood. Christ Is Risen!

Ingredients

  • Dried fruits

    1 cup

  • Butter

    160 g

  • Sugar

    1 cup

  • Yolk egg

    8 piece

  • Flour

    5 cup

  • Yeast

    50 g

  • Milk

    1.3 cup

  • Salt

    0.66 tsp

  • Vanilla

    2 pack

Cooking

step-0
Make the yeast mixture: 1,3 Cup milk heated and dissolved in them, the yeast and 2 tsp sugar, mix 2/3 Cup of flour (I forgot!, but I still have the yeast has risen)
step-1
Here the dough has risen, and in the meantime we move on
step-2
RUB the yolks with sugar, salt and vanilla
step-3
Stir in the butter (I melted butter, 150 g approximately)
step-4
Pour the egg yolks in the dough and pour the flour. 4-5 cups, the dough should be soft and not sticky. Flour can go more, I just never really believed. Put in a warm place until increase in 2 times
step-5
Dried apricots and raisins I soaked in alcohol, forms for the cakes to coat with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs
step-6
In approaching the dough stir in the dried fruit and put in shape for 1/2 of the height. Cover with foil and leave to come
step-7
I got 4 cakes and I decided to make these are the rolls-bunnies (an idea picked up from this site, thanks to the author))
step-8
First baked buns, bunnies blurred and looked like cats). Adorned in protein, whipped with sugar and festive sprinkles
step-9
This is the bunnies are preparing to go on a visit))) and behind the cake, which the husband was at work
step-10
Back to the cakes. Once the dough has filled the form, put in the oven at 180*C, and after 15-20 minutes reduce the temperature to 160*C. Baked small cakes for long, 45 minutes.
step-11
Decorate the cooled cakes with glaze. I just whipped whites with sugar and added food coloring. I wish you happy holidays and Bon appetit!
