Lenten cake with dried cherries
The cupcake is airy, soft, slightly moist structure. This is achieved by adding vegetable oil "Oleina". Dried cherries and sweet from fresh cherry juice give the cupcake a memorable Coslaw-sweet taste, a layer of cocoa with sugar accentuates it. This cupcake is the perfect dessert to lean the table in the feasts of the Annunciation and palm Sunday.

Ingredients

  • Water

    250 ml

  • Vegetable oil

    60 ml

  • Lemon syrup

    2 Tbsp

  • Leavening agent

    8 g

  • Flour

    240 g

  • Salt

    1 pinch

  • Sugar

    230 g

  • Cocoa powder

    2 Tbsp

  • Powdered sugar

    250 g

  • Cherry

    200 g

  • Juice

    1.5 Tbsp

In warm water dissolve the sugar (200g), add the lemon juice and vegetable oil "Oleina".

Separately mix flour, baking powder, salt. Sift through a strainer. This will allow a better blend all the loose components and will enrich flour with oxygen. Both masses mix with an egg beater, add the washed, dried, sprinkled with flour and dried cherries. Sprinkle flour cherry need in order to make it evenly distributed over the test and looked beautiful in the cut.

Gently stir the dough.

For layer 2 tablespoons cocoa mix with 30 grams of sugar. Form for baking vystelit baking paper, grease with vegetable oil "Oleina". Pour into prepared pan of batter. Pour the batter this way: 1/3 of the dough, sprinkle with cocoa mixture with sugar, then 1/3 of the dough, sprinkle the cocoa and sugar. And pour the remaining dough.

Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Time for baking may take less, you need to check 30 minutes later the splinter, if comes out dry the cake is ready.

Cherry Fudge. 250 g icing sugar mixed with 1.5 tbsp of cherry juice. Fondant must be of medium thickness to spread on the cupcake, but not much to drain.
