Rotenburgskim treat
Schneebälle is a sweet treat from Rothenburg (correct Rothenburg - Ob-der-Tau ber) in the South of Germany, is somewhat reminiscent of our firewood. The original recipe using schnapps or cherry liqueur (vodka). At the end of the recipe I posted photos of this wonderful town, as well as part of the process of making the famous snowballs. The pastry was very happy when I saw that I'm making it work! Of course, snowballs in my mind different from the original, but the taste is very similar!
