I want to congratulate all chefs and favorite website a happy New Year and treat everyone to a birthday cake! There are two types of cakes - poppy-walnut-coconut ish and chocolate, custard chocolate cream and decoration made of icing and sugar trees-snowflakes!

For the chocolate cake: separate the whites from the yolks. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stable peaks.
