Lemon cookies with poppy seeds
Despite its modest appearance it is incredibly tasty cookies. Crumbly and crisp with bright lemon flavor and a light poppy affair.

Ingredients

  • Butter

    160 g

  • Flour

    150 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Mac

    15 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

  • Sugar

    120 g

Beat butter with sugar and zest of 1 large or 2 small lemons. Add to the mix the sifted with the baking powder and the flour, lemon juice and quickly knead dough. Flour may need a little more, or less, so I advise you to pour gradually. I divided the dough into 2 parts.

Form the dough into a sausage, wrap in film and put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Cut into pieces and bake in a preheated to 180 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
