Carrot cake with frosting
My first recipe on the site! Very tasty, crisp and birthday cake! Make sure to prepare your family for a holiday or just on a Saturday afternoon!

Ingredients

  • Butter

    300 g

  • Brown sugar

    300 g

  • Flour

    170 g

  • Almonds

    120 g

  • Walnuts

    120 g

  • Orange

    1 piece

  • Cinnamon

    1 tsp

  • Carnation

  • Nutmeg

  • Ginger

    0.5 tsp

  • Chicken egg

    5 piece

  • Carrots

    300 g

  • Leavening agent

    1 tsp

  • Salt

  • Mascarpone

    250 g

  • Cream cheese

    150 g

  • Powdered sugar

    80 g

  • Lemon

    1 piece

Cooking

Beat butter with sugar until a lush light weight.

One by one add yolks.

Zest and juice of an orange.

Add the flour, baking powder, ground almonds, spices.

Walnuts and carrots. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with a pinch of salt in a dense foam and gently stir in the dough.

Baking can take absolutely any form. I had a split round 25 cm form. Line the bottom with baking paper. Spread the batter into the pan and put in oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50 minutes. Cake should rise and be Golden brown. After baking the cake let cool at least an hour.

Mix mascarpone, almette cheese, zest and juice of one lemon, powdered sugar. I just stirred with a spoon until smooth. Thickly smeared cake after cooling. For decoration sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
