Old bigos
Hearty, delicious dish of home cooking! Pickled cabbage gives the dish a great aroma and kind of sour! Potatoes it is desirable to take starchy varieties of instant. It is better to use pork belly or loin. SALT IS NOT ADDED!!!

Ingredients

  • Pork

    500 g

  • Sauerkraut

    800 g

  • Potatoes

    800 g

  • Dark beer

    250 ml

  • Olive oil

    15 ml

  • Allspice

    12 piece

  • Carnation

    4 piece

  • Bay leaf

    4 piece

  • Cumin

    2 g

  • Onion

    2 piece

Cooking

Onion peel and grind them.

Fry in olive oil, under cover, until the juice (4-5 minutes on high heat)

Meat wash, cut into small pieces.

Add the meat to the onions and simmer under a lid for 7-8 minutes on high heat, stirring constantly. The bones are also added.

Then add sauerkraut and simmer for 4-5 minutes, watching so it doesn't stick.

Add the cumin and stir, allow to infuse for 2-3 minutes.

Potatoes clean and cut into pieces of medium size. Spread in a ceramic pot (I was cooking in a pot with a capacity of 4.5 l), add the Laurel, cloves and pepper.

For potatoes put the cabbage with the pork, pour the beer.

In a preheated 180*C oven set our pot, with a lid, and cook 20 minutes. Instead of the cover can be tightened with an ordinary dough, as for dumplings. Bon appetit.
